How does source text analysis work?
Step by step
1. Securely upload file
Upload your source text using the button above. If it’s easier, you can pick a representative section of your documentation.
We will treat it confidentially, and in line with GDPR requirements we will delete it once the analysis is complete.
2. Expert analysis
- The source text will be analysed on the basis of formal criteria using a special tool that displays suggestions for improvement.
- Then our experts get involved: they examine the segments in question and identify how the text can be optimized.
3. Results
The aim is to identify where you can save money in your translations. This includes checking the text for:
- Inconsistent phrasing
- How quantities are written and formatted
- Sentence lengths
- Layout and syntax
- Use of punctuation and spaces
4. Analysis report
Once the analysis is complete, we will send you a report. This will vary in length, depending on how much potential for optimization there is for your texts. You get:
